He really took care of us all the time, explained all we asked and was super nice. We know that the negotiation was not easy and also that we changed our plan at the last minute. From the moment Nila met us at the airport, our tour worked perfectly. She's really understood what we wanted, the limitations of older travelers and our budget. Our visit to Samboja Lodge to see the orangutan and sun bears, then up the Mahakam river to explore the backwaters and Dayak villages by motorized canoe, staying in village guesthouses was a real adventure, finished perfectly by the return downstream on the public houseboat. Thank you Nila for this last minute tour which we unexpectedly planned. It was a glimpse of paradise...I love all animals and to see them healthy and free and jumping around strong by only eating leaves of the trees practically Vegan 🌱🌳🌱.....in their own habitat was a bonus.
It was a refreshing trip... Makes us meditate in the bigger picture in life...

Hi Nila, we would like to thank you for the great time we had on the weekend. You have a very nice crew. They are all genuinely great people. The cook pampered us with really excellent food and our guide was very very knowledgeable and spoke great English.
The only suggestion would be to try to avoid the use of water plastique bottles. I am sure guests would not have anything against refilling reusable bottles.
Other than that, if I ever come back with my family I will contact you to organize a tour for us. Thank you!

Dear Nila, we really liked the tour. It were long hours on the road but definitely worth it. We saw a lot of animals, even the tarsius! Our guide Jumri is the best guide in East Kalimantan and far beyond 😊 We really liked his company, he is attentive, smart, knows a lot of interesting facts, is funny and took really good care of us.
