DAILY LIFE ON THE MAHAKAM RIVER
Some parts of Mahakam’s life are still in the traditional way. They use this river for almost all their life activities such as taking a bath, washing clothes and dishes, and the most important thing is their economy depends on this river. Most of the people here work as local fishermen or hire their boats for tourists or locals

DAYAK TRIBES AND CULTURE
The local Dayak house Lamin Mancong is one of the tourist attractions that you must see when visiting East Kalimantan. Lamin Mancong is a long house made from wood, the visitors could come to this house in Mancong village, District Jempang, West Kutai, East Kalimantan. Nowadays the Dayak community is modern and they no longer live in the longhouses
The age of the dusk-old building has already been undergoing refurbishment by EHIF (Equatorial Heritage International Foundation). In front of the customs house area of 1,005 square meters, there are several statues to the size of Dayak. There is a statue of a man with a dog, a female, or any other form that looks semi-abstract.
