The trip is explore upper river of Mendalam River. Using local wooden longboat by attacking fast current of Mendalam River, Hovat River and Mentibat River. This journey take some days in the river. Trek though the world’s oldest rainforest. Discover the wild landscapes of Indonesia’s second largest protected area in Kalimantan. The terrain is mostly hilly and mountainous. Including lowland forest and mountain forest. It is a home for thousands of different plant and animal species.

Experience the unique chance doing jungle trekking in Borneo and explore the nature and traditional culture of Dayak tribe. On the trekking you will have to cross a river and climb several river banks. Be prepared for experiencing a “wet trekking”. You will have a chance to encounter many different animals in different locations along the way through the jungle.
